In the latest cruise ship news today, Norwegian Cruise Lines has announced that they have cancelled all cruises until Dec 2020 and have laid up the Norwegian Star, Spirit and Dawn cruise ships until March 2021. This comes as a surprise as the cruise line had been pressing for the no sail order to be lifted by Nov 1st 2020 as of just last week. With Norwegian cancelling all of their cruises along with their other cruise lines, Oceania and Regent 7 Seas travel professionals have to be wondering what is going on at NCL. Over at Royal Caribbean the CEO Richard Fain says that guests travelling on his cruise line will feel like they are in a bubble. He is looking to isolate his sailing passengers from the outside world by cutting off contact to on shore personnel. Visits to Caribbean private islands maybe the only on shore excursions allowed going forward. #cruiseshipnews #cruiselinenews #travelingwithbruce
