Sidemen Bali - Is this the best place in Bali?
Join us on this adventure into the heart of Bali discovering this hidden paradise.
Sidemen is in the Kecamatan region of Bali and is famous for it's beautiful rice paddies and view of Mt. Agung.
Sidemen is much less known to tourists so you will get a truly authentic Balinese experience away from the hustle and bustle of tourist life.

Located about 1 hour from Ubud you could do this trip as a 1 day trip, getting up early to still see the beautiful view of the mountain in the morning, spending time waterfall hunting in the afternoon and then relaxing with food and sunset before taking the trip back.

Or if you are coming from further away you can easily make this a weekend trip by booking into one of the guesthouses or hotels in the valley. If you are coming for the weekend i would highly recommend where we stayed as it was very reasonably priced and in a fantastic location with simply stunning views. You will not be disappointed.
Also if you come for the weekend you should get up early and watch the sunrise over Mt Agung. Sidemen Bali has the best view of the volcano through the valley, especially in the morning as often the low cloud cover can cover the view by the afternoon. I would also recommend having a workshop at Agung Silver, very reasonable price and an amazing experience. You also pass over the little yellow bridge on the way, which adds to the excitement.
