In this episode we have a scary night sail to Luperon, Dominican Republic with bigger seas and stronger winds than forecast. After an accidental jibe, one of our battens comes loose and almost goes overboard. Meanwhile underwater our recent engine troubles seem to also have included the sheering off of our starboard rudder. (more details on our Patreon page). The worst part about it is we don’t know its gone and we can’t figure out why we are loosing control of our steering. This is one of the scariest and most stressful night passages we have had yet, when we finally make it to Luperon it's a huge relief... You don’t want to miss this episode!
