Our K-1st Grade Learning Pods are talking “All About Me” and about “My Family”. They are talking about our family traditions and celebrations, while looking at family traditions and celebrations from people around the world.

Here they are traveling to Vietnam:

They fly in their airplane (hitting some turbulence!), go through customs and have their passports stamped, learn about the country’s flag, the traditions, the celebrations, and some “good-to-know” words from that country’s language. The last step in each trip is to mail a postcard home on which the children write a short note about the country they are visiting each day. #learningpods #pbl
