If you are someone who has an inclination towards visiting the offbeat places in Goa, then villages of Goa can be a good start. Far from the beaches and crowds, deep in the hinterlands of North Goa, sits the charming sleepy village of Aldona. The first thing that you'll find while researching on Aldona is that it is called "The Most Beautiful Village In The World". Intrigued by this I ditched the popular tourist places in Goa and instead decided to spend a day at Aldona to find out what really makes this sleepy neighborhood so special.
