Beautiful Basel in Switzerland is always a City trip or hop worth. Located in the north of Switzerland, it touches the border of France and Germany called ‚Dreiländereck‘ (threecountrycorner).
The inland boat commutes between the bigger ports connected to the north sea or english channel to support either Switzerland with raw material or specifically the chemical industry from Basel.
Its always astounding how long these boats can be - the kids love it.
