It's my first day on Little Corn island in Nicaragua, as I backpack through Central America on a budget. Little Corn Island is a hidden gem in the Caribbean.

Little Corn Island is a remote tropical, paradise island 50 miles off the coast of Nicaragua. This is a must visit for anyone looking for a beautiful remote tropical island that has yet to really be discovered by many travelers.

Today I explore the island, stumble upon a local baseball game, check out some beautiful beaches, meet some locals, and try all kinds of local food. I try some vigoron, a traditional Nicaraguan dish and one of my favorite foods I have had in all of my travels around the world.

Little Corn island is one of the most beautiful places I have been, nicest people that I've met, and some of the best food I have tried.
