WE WENT TO TURKEY AND STARTED OUR JOURNEY IN ISTANBUL, WHICH IS IN EUROPE, BUT THE OTHER HALF OF ISTANBUL IS IN ASIA.

We know that ISTANBUL, TURKEY is one of the CHEAPEST cities in the world - however we wanted to see how far we could stretch $100 DOLLARS in this iconic and HISTORIC city.

We went to GET A BAKLAVA, turkish coffee, kebab (or kebap as they call it in turkiye), turkish delight, we go to the grand bazaar and the spice bazaar in the heart of istanbul; we also got a we got a £100 return flight from manchester to istanbul with turkish airlines

we obviously had to get a cheeky simit from a street vendor and also visit the fishermen on the bridge in istanbul in the city.

we also got the tram for 7 lira

the weather in istanbul was a little bit rainy in november, but it was warm and pleasant and there were plenty of umbrella sellers.
