Fleeting Light

Happy new year everyone!
Last year was a very odd but interesting year. There were happy ups and sad downs, in a different way compared to what we were used to. I don't know what will happen this year, pretty much nobody expected the pandemic last year either. Let's hope and pray this year will bring us something good.

Now to the video. This is one of those music/anime combinations that just fits so well and I'm surprised nobody has made this combination yet. The Iorph (mainly Maquia and Leilia) are the so called Fleeting Light: there's a time when they come to the 'normal world', but eventually, they leave again. Maquia, our main character, travels the world, trying to take care of Ariel. The 'love lost in the decay' is the discovery of Ariel, being held in the arms of his loving, now deceased mother. Maquia gets to know people as she travels and learns to take care of herself and Ariel, that's how she 'loses her cares/fears'. The part around 2 minutes shows the downsides of exploring the world for both Maquia and Leilia. The 'returning to the land where they came from' shows because Krim wants to take Leilia back to their homes. Eventually, both Maquia and Leilia do return (as can be seen in the end). They float through the space on the backs of the Renato, but also because Leilia 'can jump', as is being said in the anime.

I hope you'll enjoy the video :)
